Step 2

Unroll and stretch mat on the growing surface.  Reposition drip tapes if needed by tensioning at each end.

Cut 1 inch sleeve
Fold twice driptape end
Slide sleeve on folded end driptape
Flushable end cap

Closing drip tape ends

*Makes possible to flush drip tapes by taking off sleeves.

  • Lay a water pipe, punch 0.15" holes perpendicular to drip tapes and insert 0.25" barb-drip locks. Connect to a water source and check if any leakage.
  • Test that water reaches drip tape ends. Untwist tapes and adjust spacing with pressure on between small pots and trays if required.
