MICROFAB

High-performance anti-root barrier

MICROFAB effectively controls  the growth of wild plants and root development in the soil underneath the plants. Its micro-perforated surface remains dry and curbs the growth of algae or moss in the propagation area. The lining up of pots is made easier by the guidelines printed every 15cm. Woven with treated anti-UV fibers, it is tear-resistant and has exceptional endurance making it the best such product for use throughout the horticultural industry.

MICROFAB can also be used in many different ways:

Pot in container nursery production

MICROFAB, when placed between the pot on the ground and the plant container, controls the growth of the roots through the drainage holes. This allows for an easier harvest of the potted plants. Water can circulate freely through this system thereby ensuring long-term root-control. To obtain the optimal results, it is best put MICROFAB inside the plant container.

Storage of trees for transplanting

MICROFAB is an ideal solution for trees that have already been bagged in jute or wire baskets for transplanting whether they are stored in trenches or still covered with soil. It allows water and fertilizers to pass through easily , and reduces the decomposition rate of the jute. MICROFAB firmly holds the root mass thus facilitating the harvesting and transport. For optimal results, it is best to replace the jute with MICROFAB during the initial transfer of the plant.

Landscaping

MICROFAB is one of the best choices for landscapers, green space professionals or golf course groundskeepers. Its unique structure enables a better control of wild plants in planting beds even when it is used on steep surfaces. It allows the soil to retain iboth its humidity and its heat as well as promotes aeration providing a healthier environment for the plants.
